Oh, there are so many things.....
I just wish I knew where to start though, because when it comes to my work place it seems everyone turns a deaf ear. Safety concerns are ignord by managment and Union officials, and the companies OH&S. How do you get safety issues delt with when a great part of the problem lies with the people you have to take the issue to? and then still the shoe just gets passed because nobody wants to deal with it. The companies OH&S officer stands behind the company and not up for the workers safety. And when the OH&S on the Goverment level comes to visit everything is covered up. We have a weekly safety meeting where workers safety concerns are brought up only to be ignored, and never make it to the OH&S level outside of the company. I am a victom of circomstance my self, and will be returning to work Monday. I know I have many co-workers who are also off on workers compensation, or on light duties. I see the many safety issues that go un attended and it makes my blood curdle to think that it only takes one slip and that co-workers life could very well be changed for the rest of their life..... and all so needless. How can a company get away with this. How is it that when a companies compensation rates and accident reports must be through the roof that they can go uninvestigated? How do you get throught the door inorder to make your work place a safe place and less stressfull to work.
