After a refreshing holiday with my family- some time at Wakaw Lake, a family wedding in Saskatoon, a backyard trimmed to perfection and a little R'n'R- I'm ready to go full tilt.

Whenever I come back from a holiday, work can seem a bit overwhelming at first. (I dread opening up my email inbox for the first time.) But I find a break tends to put a lot of things into perspective. Once I have a handle on things- I'm ready to move full steam ahead with renewed confidence in the direction I'm going.

Take for instance, this blog. There are lots of exciting things happening right now in the injury prevention world and this is one way I can share what I'm learning with the world, and hopefully entice readers to return the favour.

Here's something new I came across, "SMARTRISK No Regrets takes the Internet by storm!"

SMARTRISK No Regrets is developing a website with the intention of moving their entire program onto the Web. They expect to be up and running, come September 2009. What I find most interesting about the anticipated site, is that there will be sections dedicated to educating parents, empowering them to talk to their children about risk and injury.

In addition to this website, they're also activating an extensive social networking strategy. Let me know if you find them on Twitter, Facebook and YouTube!
