Saskatchewan leaders have a chance to be a part of a national movement.
As of 2:13 PM, July 31st 2010, 91,422 Saskatchewan people have been unintentionally injured this year. So far in 2010, predictable and preventable injuries have cost the Saskatchewan economy $580,821,918.36.
It has been said that community engagement is one of the cornerstones to preventing injuries through awareness. This video, produced by the Safe Steppin' Seniors of Rockglen, shows the real influence a community group can have towards preventing falls in their community.
